People have always questioned me on my heritage for some reason, but it apparently has become the thing to ask me nowadays. The first meeting I had at my new job in august someone asked me where my family was from in Mexico, one of the first things each of my new roommates asked me, I get it a lot when I meet new people at the bars, and then today. I went to a little corner market, and while i was picking out some hummus mix a worker comes up and tells e how much I look like her brother. I proceed to joke about how handsome a man he must be, and then she asked if i was polish like they were, which I responded with a no. So, she then apologizes and says I must be Hispanic then.
Haha, for the record I am welsh, dutch, irish, and scotish on my Dad's side, and my Mom's family was from a small farming community in Iowa, of which we do not know their background. I am not Mexican, though I would be a whole cooler if I was.
