Fuck that last blog lol I am pretty much over everything that put me in that shit mood. Life marches on.
Made a spur of the moment trip to Philly last night into today, had some fun, ate at Jim's steaks, and visited my friends new store. Pretty bad ass store too if you ask me. Its a co-op ... not that I know what that means entirely, the jist of it I think I understand, artists make stuff and put it up for sale in her store. Wish I had brought some money with me, could have easily dropped a few hundred dollars on random art and other various cool things that were in there. If you happen to be in the Philly area, look it up, its called Fishtown Airways, its just off 95.
I seem to have a knack for talking my way out of tickets. Got pulled over on the PA turnpike last night, was doing well over 100. Not proud of this second part, but I also had a few drinks in me, nothing to the point where I was bombed, but I had a buzz going. Would have easily passed sobriety tests, dunno about a breathalyzer though. Either way, I dont make a habit of doing that. Cop pulls me over and I made up some story about my ex who broke up with me 4 years ago before she went off to college and was back in the area, but was leaving in the morning, lol made up a side story about some other driver who kept cutting me off and slamming on his brakes. Had me pulled over for about 20 minutes or so, but came back with no ticket and said something along the lines of "slow down, save a life" Could have sworn I saw a billboard that said the same thing right before he pulled me over too, but no ticket works for me.
At some point I am going to post some new pictures I have taken this summer, but my computer sucks balls and I dont want to slow it down any worse then it is.
Going to zombie prom in Philly at the end of the month, and camping with some coworkers in upstate NY next month for Oktoberfest. Should be a good times.
Going through my annual "what to do for my birthday" questions. Always seems to end up with me visiting my favorite local watering hole. Would like to do something above and beyond that, but it seems like such an attention whore thing to do to me. Like, "hey, I havent talked to you in awhile but its my birthday, want to do something extravagant and buy me liquor/presents/give me birthday head?" lol I also never seem to be surprised by anything as far as that goes. I would love to get something totally awesome one year, and have no clue about it until I actually get it.
Have been debating with myself about getting a second job. Would be something in the restaurant/bar industry. I have worked in every facet of both, but am not sure if I really want to run myself down like that. Full time job has me working about 50+ hours per week, and if I took another job, it would be for 2 nights a week minimum, maybe more depending on what their minimum requirements are. Also factor in any training I would have to go through before I actually got to start working and the whole scenario doesnt sit well with me. What to do, what to do.
One thing that definetly has got me excited is the prospect of moving some time next summer. Need to start saving and thats where the second job would make things much easier. I will probably procrastinate the fuck out of this until next summer rolls around, or maybe I will light a fire under my ass and get my shit together as far as thats concerned. I should at least explore the options a little further then what I have.
Thats about it for now, picture updates next time around, shake it easy!
