Long night last night at the shop ful of joyful programming. but, I got the entire production Q'ed in about 5 hours, so that means for the next two days the Dance Concert can get my full attention. I need still need to move all the drapes, split the legs and borders and shift my booms onstage. not to mention all my backlight needs to be adjusted from the last show wherein the designer (not me) thought he could get more coverage with fewer instruments and a more narrow beam angle from a lower trim. I will never understand how other designers can be so unfamiliar with the way industry standard instruments work and what their light output is.
"guess I must have gotten my calculations wrong"
then dont use a cut-sheet and a calculator. try looking at the size of your damned pool.
oh well.
friday is rapidly drawing near. and my elation climbs with each dwindling hour.

I joined SG Australia and saw you there, are you planning to go there or something? My son and I are planning a trip next year. What show are working on?
