I've almost comedown from the abject joy of the World Series, me and my best friend Matt were in the stadium for the post parade celebrations, it was an amazing atmosphere, just great moods and conviviality floating all around the city (aside from the one bitch on Market St. who yelled at me for orienting her chair slightly to the left so I could pass through the wall of suck that she her people and their furniture had formed) and I was glad I got to do that. Back to the grind tomorrow, last week of training beginning with a test on policy tomorrow, man there are few things in life more thrilling to read than official Corrections Policy. In a side not I'm still waiting on the development of a sarcasm specific font. After that I get certified in CPR, some first aid training, some other odds and ends then Friday I graduate and give a speech. I get one day off and report to work at 2:30 on Sunday, then I find out a bit more. I got my first ever paycheck with a comma in it on Thursday which was nice. Three weeks with out any appreciable income was making life a smidge uncomfortable, particularly with the lavish lifestyle I've grown accustomed to. Anyway, I need to start looking for a place to live in the city, may have a line on a place, but we shall see. Otherwise nothing of note to report. Time to do some reading.

congrats to your St Louis team on the WS, it really was a great series! i envy people who get to experience those celebrations when their home team wins, something my own city has yet to experience.. ever haha.

You guys always seem to play us well (See games one and two of the 2011 season). Give it some time I think the Padres have it in 'em one of these days.
