OK so you guys are insanely awesome... to date, there are 56 comments on my last journal entry. You all rock my cock if you left me a comment! It was the best thing ever to come back to all that greatness!
This took me forever; I've been working on these pictures for over two hours now. They came upside down on the disk so I had to rotate them all, then crop them and re-size them = pain in the arse! Most of them didn't even come out well because I was practicing with my mom's SLR camera and I've never used one before. But here you go, the long-awaited photos:
Here we have Griffin, my sister's one-year old show boxer, being groomed for the first day of the 3-day show. I don't really feel like explaining the whole show situation - go watch Best in Show for somewhat of an idea, although it's completely different in real life.
This is Kelly and Griffin in the ring on the first day of the show. Sorry for the blurriness, but I kind of like the effect of everything being blurry but my sister.
This is a Rhodesian Ridgeback - I fell in love with these dogs this weekend and I must have one when I am able to have a dog again; they are so beautiful.
This is Cedar, also a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I spoke with his owner for over an hour as we watched the Best in Show competition on the first night. Dog and owner are awesome people.
Isn't he beautiful?!
Horrible picture, but have you ever seen one of these dogs? They are hilarious, I believe they're called a Chinese Crested... RIDICULOUS!
This dog is awesome - I don't remember his name, but he's a gorgeous golden retriever, and my mom breeds them so I had to get a picture of him.
How could this beautiful baby not get first place every time?!
I walked by a woman holding this black Shiba Inu puppy and I had to take a picture of his adorableness.
Newfoundlands are gigantic beauties!
Apparently dogs get white-eye in photos...
And of course, the Griffy-Doodle et moi. He is also known as the Griffinmeister, Doodleman, and any other variation on those names... sometimes I wonder if he knows his real name. I honestly wasn't trying to flash you.
Sooo sweet
So all in all, it was a great weekend. I learned a LOT about dog shows, different breeds of dogs, and just a lot about dogs in general. And I have found the type of dog I want to own when I can have one. I had lots of fun with my sister and her husband. Kelly and I went shopping on Saturday night. I spent only $110 and got 2 shirts, a pair of pants, 2 tank tops, and an awesome lime green coat (which will be modeled in the near future)! I got to go swimming, which always makes me happy. Hotels are fun, but it's definitely awesome to be home.
I still have a lot to do tonight. I have to clean my room, first and foremost. I also have to pick out two more classes to take instead of the psychology courses I have in my schedule already (I am switching out of psych). I want to journal for a while, and also get some reading done. Who knows which will get knocked off the list...
Not sure if this is just me, but I've been noticing something lately - I automatically assume that people on here are single, unless they make it blatantly clear that they aren't... do you do that as well? Maybe it's just because I'm single and on the prowl
One good thing about being in this spot right here, right now - the guy upstairs is playing some good music so I have a somewhat decent soundtrack for my night Always a good thing...
In case you didn't notice, I'm running out of things to say. If you have read this far, then I love you! tons and TONS of !!
how's about some questions:
1) what's your favorite kind of dog?
2) are you picky about what kind of pen you use when writing?
3) are you lonely right now?
4) what's your favorite pic of me in any of my pics folders?
and then some answers:
a) I have a few: Rhodesian Ridgeback, Golden Retriever, Boxer
b) always. right now I'm into RSVP pens - they are the SHIT. call me a nerd, I don't care
c) yes, very. being single sucks
d) my profile pic, right now

i will leave this up for a while so everyone can see it.

You look so Chirstina Ricci in that pic.
I like any dog that isn't an idiot. Don't care about pens and I'm kinda lonely since I moved.
