Are you an artist? Do you animals and what to help save them?
Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue, my non profit no-kill rescue, is looking for some people willing to donate rabbit art that can be used to put on note cards, T-shirts, or just sold as-is, framed or unframed.
We are planning on starting up a Cafe Press store fairly soon, in order to hep raise funds to care for the rescued bunnies. Funds cover all medical needs, including spaying and neitering all of the bunnies, feeding them and all aspects of care. Aside from the educational work we do, we also run a program at a local animal shelter: We have 100% responsibilty for the care of the bunnies there - from cleaning and exercise, to feeding, and providing enclosures, plus lots of TLC. We put them into foster homes as soon as there is space, and ALL rabbits adopted out are adopted out as House Pets only!
Since we began this program there 3 years ago, we have taken them from an approximate 70 euthanasia rate to a ZERO euthanasia rate!!! But this takes time, love and bucks bucks bucks.
So we are always looking for new ways to raise funds.
I think it is a great idea to gather all differnt styles of artists to do this - maybe it will be those more or less starting out - and in return for their artisict donation(s) --and aside from amazing amounts of Good Bunny Karma-- the artists get links and exposure and maybe some interest in their other art!
So. Let me now if you are interested?
Poor Peter! He was just pooped from listening to all those dogs barking all day. But not to worry! Zooh Corner found Peter a great home, where he has his own (spayed) bunny girlfriend, and they get to nap on the couch whenever they feel like it!
