HELP! Rabbits need homes or they willbe euthanized.
Here's the deal:
I run a non profit, no-kill rabbit rescue. We run a program, "Friends of Shelter Rabbits," at a local shelter. We provide daily cleaning, feeding and exercise for the rabbtis there, as well as providing all of the food, hutches, medical care, etc. We take rabbits into our homes to foster as soon as we have space, and we adopt-out the rabbits - as house pets only- to approved homes (all spayed or neutered of course).
We are Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue

Currently we are at crisis levels at the shelter - we have 27 rabbits at the shelter (plus many in foster care) - and we have no more space. If we do not place some rabbits soon, in permanent or foster homes, they will begin to euthanize. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!
We have also lost several volunteers lately and are desperate for weekday help at the shelter. It can take as little as an hour, for a short shift, or you can do a full shift (3 hours? -unless you are me and you stay all day and play with the bunnies).
Volunteering saves lives too, because as long as the shelter workers do not have to do *anything* for the bunnies, they are less likley to complain.
If you can help save a life by fostering or adopting a house rabbit, please let me know!
Also let me know if you are interested in volunteering.
Bunnies are cute, fun, super social, they can be litter box trained and they are very human oriented, so they make wonderful pets!
As soon as I figure out how to post pics on here, I will do that. Until then, there are pics on our site. Juts click on the adoption icon to see many cutey-pies!
