A Wild Sheep Chase by Haruki Murakami,

I finally found my own place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so happy. I can hardly wait to move in. oh oh oh.
A nice clean one bedroom, with a big enough kitchen and bathroom and everything.
Lots of light from the east and west. A little porch, and a stoop behind the kitchen. A gloriously white tiled bathroom.
In a nice little Spanish styled courtyard with a Japanese...

I always like getting new places! I have so much stuff I don't need that it kind of sucks moving it all but the feal of a new place is pretty exciting. Hope it works out great!

i so agree with you though...alan rickman is one of those few men out there that are old enough to be my grandfather that i'd still make out with. patrick stewart also comes to mind. wink

I had not seen that set by Valentina and it is really good. It reminds me of one of my favourite photographers, Duane Michals, who created sets of images along the theme of dreams.

I find that I am increasingly offended by the nasty stuff people put in their coffee.
A bit of sugar, a bit of cream, tis all that's needed.
If you want all that crap perhaps you shouldn't even be drinking coffee.
I should make it illegal to classify something as coffee if there's anything else besides water, coffee bean, milk, soy, cocoa, or pure sugar....

you lost me after milk. soy? i can't even say soy without lisping. if it's early in the morning and i haven't eaten i will add a little milk or cream but no sugar. i've kind of stayed away from coffee lately. i go through phases. tea is more my thing right now but only if i make it on my own. the tall cup of water and weirdly wrapped tea leaf bag they give me in the coffee shop always seems haphazardly thrown together. for me it has to be a science, the right amount of water, tea leaves, and right temperature for the water followed by the right amount of seeping time. someone is always talking to me or there's some other distraction when i buy it in a cup and with that little wooden stick i feel like i'm not penetrating the entire cup of water fully. i don't know, i'm a bitch. but it's snowing there, i mean, SNOWING there? that'll be the day when it does here. it's 730 here, i had some beers, i could past out but yeah, i definitely DO NOT want to be awake at 2:30. i might then have to go to 7-11 and get a coffee (a mix of every flavor) and fill it with every sugary flavored creamer and syrup they have and just go out of my mind before work. actually that might sound like fun if it were totally unplanned. cheers!

William S. Burroughs'
Thanksgiving Prayer

Thanks for the wild turkey and
the passenger pigeons, destined
to be shit out through wholesome
American guts.

Thanks for a continent to despoil
and poison.

Thanks for Indians to provide a
modicum of challenge and
danger.

Thanks for vast herds of bison to
kill and skin leaving the
carcasses to rot.

Thanks for bounties on wolves
and coyotes.

Thanks...

Every song is a love song.
Every old woman is a possibile mirror of my future self.
Every rose has it's thorn.
Every day is like Sunday.
Every heartbeat bears your name.
Every lover is, in his head, a madman and in his heart a minstrel.
Journeys end in lovers meeting, Every wise man's son doth know.
Every minute could be your last.
Every star...

they say pornography is the other part to a trilogy, but i've never heard that album. if i told some huge cure that after i'd said i loved seventeen seconds and faith they might look at me like when i tell them i haven't seen the lord of the rings trilogy yet. the lotr thing, wow, some people really go crazy. they want to make a date and force me to watch all three. cool it, jack.
oh, but soul of a bell. i dunno, not everyone's cup but it should be i suppose. i have no idea what william bell did after that album, but every song on there is down right soul drenched depressing. i should also mention, to cover some more range on the depressing music scale, willie nelson: hot damn. something i picked up, crazy: demo sessions. good ol willie singing about how the women have left him, how he'd done them wrong or they'd gone and done him in real good. the authorities really need to lay off him and let him smoke his weed in peace.

Really? Is it the weather? Something else? Hope everything turns around though! wink

What have I done?
I don't know if I have struck down the right path.
The trees lean in on me, they creak and cry in ominous warning. The sky's belly ripped open, pouring an acid rain, that stains my skin. The crows cackle in contempt at my tears. I've broken my own heart. I've broken yours. Is there any way to heal this?
I...
