So I rescued a cat today. He has been inbetween my buliding and the one next door for almost 2 days now. I originally thought he had fallen out of a window across the yard because there was one open on the third floor without a screen. The poor thing can barely get up. I was hoping that if a neighbour had lost him they would realize by now and have the smarts to look below the open window. Seeing as how he's been there so long I am beginning to wonder if he came upon that spot another way.
I feel so bad for the poor guy. He's so sweet. I have been giving him food and water, but he's not been eating. He seems to be pretty old too. He has a collar so I know he belongs to someone. I just don't know who. Tomorrow I'm contacting the SPCA to see if anyone has reported him lost, and hopefully find out about inexpensive resources for medical care. As you can see from prior entires...I don't have much cash to spare.
I'd have no problem taking him in, but I already have one adult male cat(Michka ), and I don't know if that would go over well. I know if my baby turned up missing I would want someone to get him back to me. Guess we'll see how It goes. Wish me luck.
