Prince is a fucking genius...this I have known for quite some time but as I listen to this live compilation I am reintroduced to his supreme awesomeness.
I saw Prince live during the Purple Rain tour and I had backstage passes and Sheila E was opening for him and sitting next to me during his set after she had finished hers. I was eating pot brownies. Serious ones. But it was one of the most amazing phenomenal indescribable live shows I have ever seen.
In later years, when I was living in Los Angeles, my very dear friend Blair was working for Prince. I spent many nights in his night club thinking I was going to be the next Carmen Electra.
I was sadly mistaken.
And those are stories for another time.
But years later, after his ingenious idea to Willy Wonka his latest release I still fucking love Prince.
He is the fucking master.
No one does it like he does.
He is one sexy mutha fucka.
I love him.
