Last nights festivaties were quite lovely, even tought i'm still quite full of my cold, short black curly hair and cardigans and knee socks drove me crazy enough to exert some well needed energy last night. Only after of course finding that all not one buy all of my header bolts were lose, along with two intake bolts and one alternator bracket bolt....guess i should check on those more often. 9 days left till the crew pushes off on the long journey to the hunnert car pile up outside chicago. Other than tighten my shit up and polish the chrome, the next 9 days will be spent trying to kick this colds ass. Oh and maybe getting some more of what was on last nights menu ...

Well, I took the head and the barrels to the shop for new valves, new pistons and rings, and a rebore on the cylinders. The shit part is that LH conrod. It's got a slight wiggle which could mean the crank needs a regrind. I want the shop owner to take a look/feel and see if that's the case. That sucks my balls because a top-end job is fairly easy to do. But a bottom-end job means taking the motor out of the frame and splitting the cases. More time, more money. No bueno.
