My weekend was ever so nice. Alien vs Predator was mostly great, I had a few nerd gripes but it could have been a LOT worse, and there was plenty of vicious fighting with casualties on all sides, so I was pleased immensely. I ate a SHITLOAD of popcorn. I saw the film at a really ghetto theater, and I'm not sure the people there had ever seen an Alien or Predator film because I often heard confused statements when an alien would pop out of someone's chest, or the blood melted through things, etc. but it was cool anyway because people became very loud and vocal during the fights and stuff. It amused me quite a bit.
Horrorfind was lots of fun too, I got a lot of autographs and managed to keep my fevered impulse buying to a minimum. Doug Bradley (Pinhead) seemed downright suicidal when I met him, just tired as hell and hating life. Kane Hodder (Jason) was pretty aloof and businesslike. Butch Patrick and Pat Priest (Eddie and Marilyn Munster) were very nice, and I got a nice autographed cheesecake photo of Marilyn Munster in a bathing suit on the Munster car. My favorite celebs though were Sid Haig (Captain Spaulding) and Bill Moseley (Otis, Choptop). Both were very personable and appreciative of thier fans. Bill Moseley gave me a movie poster for the House of 1,000 Corpses sequel, entitled The Devil's Rejects. I don't know when it comes out, but I'm looking forward to it very much.
My girlfriend was an absolute saint to deal so gracefully with my rabid horror/Alien vs Predator geekiness this weekend. I'd just like to add.

Saint H of D, patron saint of women who deal with geeky-assed boyfriends. I know several people who would venerate her relics.
