If The Dark Knight was about fashion it would be just as dramatic but more fabulous. It becomes the story of a man who sits atop the fashion world and has become uninspired because of it. Until an urban street artist comes and makes waves



There's a storm coming, Mr. Wayne. You and your friends better double stich your seams, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you were so chic and world was so inelegant


If you're seriously considering going back out there, you should hear the rumors surrounding Bane
I'm all ears.
There is a sweat shop in a more ancient part of the world. A pit where men are thrown to suffer. To sew and die. But sometimes a man rises from the darkness. Sometimes the pit sends something back.
Bane.
Bane. Born and raised in hell on earth.


Born in a sweatshop prison?
No one knows why, or how he escaped. But they do know that once he did, he was trained by Ra's Al Ghul, your mentor.
Bane was a member of the League of Shadows? The fashion Mafioso?
And then he was excommunicated. And any man who's designs are too extreme for Ra's Al Ghul is not to be trifled with.

You can strap your leg to a foot pedal and put on a loupe magnifier but that doesn't make you who you were.
If this man is everything that you say he is, then the city needs me.
The city needs Bruce Wayne. Your resources, your knowledge. It doesn't need your body, or your life. That time has passed.

The Vogues will be ripped from their satin nests, and cast out into the cotton world that we know and endure.

How can you sew faster than possible, draw longer than possible, truly create without the most powerful impulse of the spirit: the fear of being antiquated


A hero can be anyone. Even a man doing something as simple and reassuring as showing a boy how to box stitch a lanyard just to let him know that the world hadn't ended.



Thanks for reading. This came to be randomly. Two of my friends (Christian and Chris Dowse) and myself were talking were hanging out. This was a right around the time when Dark Knight had just started to leave the theaters but it was the only movie really worth talking about. We would quote the movie non stop. I can not stress how much we would piss people off by saying "the fire rises" in an almost unrecognizable tone. While talking about the movie I for some reason that seemed logical said what is dark knight rises was about fashion. We then went back and for kicking out batman quotes and replacing it with fashion terms and it was hilarious. This is a more polished version of that conversation. I hope you enjoyed
