Writing about 'Jurassic Park' ('Jurassic Park' in these parts) is to write about what may have been the most important film of the last decade of the twentieth century and one of the highest grossing films in movie history. Reach almost a billion dollars worldwide box in a time when there was not yet free advertising internet users give you a big movie studios and at a time when the 3D not artificially increased the merit box office a movie, something that today would be impossible for most current productions. In the film tessitura that existed in 1993, year of release of the film, just triumphed (with few exceptions) the films that looked a very recognizable name as a director or headliner and their quality made them highly recommended works between our relatives (the famous word of mouth). And 'Jurassic Park' could boast both virtues.

Directed by Steven Spielberg (considered at that time the King Midas of Hollywood because of his gift to turn into box office gold for every project in which his name became involved), 'Jurassic Park' is the adaptation to the big screen bestseller namesake of the late author Michael Crichton (who with screenwriter David Koepp and a small contribution from the librettist Malia Scotch Marmo was responsible for adapting to Spielberg his own work). Beating all kinds of records the year of its release and obtaining submerging half the planet in an authentic "Dino-mania", the film garnered unparalleled success in every country where it was released and divided specialized critics as to filmic quality possessed. However, today it is considered the last great adventure film Steven Spielberg and enjoys great respect and admiration of both general audiences and film critics; even say the film adaptation is vastly superior to his literary Original (providing too many unnecessary data to extend the plot of a contrived and irregular).
