It has been a rough day. I had no prep cook so on top of doing the soups and the cafe meals I had to do some of the prep work plus produce inventory plus keep an eye on our "intern" plus my own sidework prep for the next day plus a last minute catering order.
AND THEN....
A lovely goose egg above my temple on the right side of my head. I was bending over to put soups on the cart and when I went to upright myself *BAM* my head hit the open doors of the top oven and I saw stars.

AND THEN.....
My boss reminded me that it was time for my yearly TB test (mandatory and very important when you work around food in a hospital). So upstairs I went to the employee nurse. It didn't hurt to get stuck with the needle, it hurt when she injected whatever crap they put into your arm to see if you have TB or not. So once
again..... .

Everyday my birthday grows closer and closer and for some reason I am not looking forward to it. This is the first year in my life I wish I could just pass by my birthday. That is sad considering I am sucha birthday whore.
