So I'm guessing the bronchitis mixed with too much work and not enough rest has left my immune system low and now I'm just plain sick. Swollen throat, achey, sleep like the dead type shit. I called in sick to work for today. 1 day, ONE DAY. That's all I ever allow myself to call in for. Eric tells me they can live without me for a day and that it's not my job to worry, but I do. Call me a workaholic but I can't help it. If I had a stronger voice I would have called my boss today in between bouts of unconsciousness. Knowing him though, I'm going to show up to work tomorrow(or rather he will because I always get in before him) and get the stink eye from him for about an hour then all will be okay.
I don't have a set schedule so when I HAVE to call in sick for a day I keep worrying that he is going to get pissed off and take it out on me using my schedule. It has happened before. All night shifts, not giving me days I requested off, giving me extra overtime, etc. etc. This would suck this month particularly because a) There is a party I am attending on a friday where I KNOW I have the weekend off and b) I always work grill in the morning on halloween because it's my favorite thing of all. Let us all pray that my one day of illness does not cause spite.

I know there was more I was going to add but when I'm sick my mind isn't always working quite straight. Which would explain a lot for the last few months. heh. sick-o
