Another weekend of pedaling around in circles is in the books ladies and gentleman. Nothing particularly exciting to write about, although I am finally turning down the suck-o-meter considerably and re-joining the ranks of those able to ride a bike againnot by much, but still.
Otherwise, more of the same, but before another installment of "mon-fri", I will be enjoying some delicious pizza and a little beer to set the "recovery" in motion and gear up for another fun filled week of my not so bad life.
...and that's word to big bird.

I miss the bike racing, I miss the endless winding roads, the bakeries, the beautiful countryside right outside of the cities. I miss Leuven, Ghent and Antwerp, I miss Blauberg, West Meerbeke and Tielt Winge. I miss being able to take the train anywhere I want to go, and everything being closed on Monday. I miss frijts and curry ketchup and bike lanes all around.
I really miss the way that in Belgium it almost seems like anything goes. Im sure this sounds odd, but really I always feel like as long as Im not hurting anyone or doing anything completely stupid I can just go about my business in belgium, but then Ive never stayed for more than 2 months.
Europe makes a lot more sense to me in a lot of ways, so I guess I miss that too, part of me always feels like Im home when Im there...
Yay Belgium for Sure!!
