today @vorpal Suicide posted on Instagram about how Instagram is a great way to get ourselves out there...and she's right! But really, this is where it all started. I don't post enough on the site and I'm going to start doing so much more. Without suicidegirls.com where would we be? I remember being 14 years ild and stumbling across an SG book in a book store, I didn't know what I was looking at or how to react. But something clicked. It was the most beautiful representation of women I'd ever seen. I then knew and could not wait to join this community. It's not about the fame or publicity, even though it's great to put ourselves out there. It's about defying society's beauty standards and coming together in appreciate of those who dare to go against the grain. And for that I love SG.
