Sweet. New Year's. Get to see my sis. It's been maybe six months- very exciting. Also, rumor has it my bro will be moving to new york for a few weeks (on a show). Good to see some family once in a while (funny I'm closest with those I see the least).

As long as the lens doesn't have too much distortion and you overlap enough, you should have no problem shooting handheld panos.
The first three photos here are all made up of three photos each. I used a Nikon 20mm f2.8 lens. My Canon 17-85mm has way too much distortion at 17mm to be used effectively.

actually it's often lanscapes or cityscapes I 'do'.... and with Film the purpose is somewhat different. Get coverage of the set or location and then have the flexibility to create different camera moves later from the stitched plates
