...i just scored a live Jools Holland DVD with a vast array of fuckin decent bands on...Pj Harvey performs that song live, it totally blew me away, other notable's include
-At the Drive-in with 'One Armed Scissor'- they looked so written with untold amounts of chemical energy, fuck i love those guys...
-Porno for Pyros do a trippy version of 'Orgasm', which is just spacy and trippy as..
...ahh so many good songs, Sterophonics, The Afghan Whigs, von Bondies, White Stripes, Dick dale...man that dude so play the guitar!
...anyway yeah, great fuckn DVD, comes highly recommended...
...havent been doin much lately, im assembling a showreel of all my film endeavours so ive i move cities like really soon, at least ill have something to try and get my way into some kind of job....or maybe ill just be lazy and soak up the atmopshere of a new place until my bank account fades away....haha
...been getting drunk lots, oddly, i normally prefer to get stoned, but eh, got so much angst in my at the moment, so been craving cold beers and loud music, 'Sing,Sing Death House' by the Distillers is the album of the week...great release plugs my body in an electrical outlet....NOTHING happens in this town and it doesn't help that it is winter, if it snowed then yeah it'd be rad, but no its just bitter cold scattered rain showers all the time it seems.....
...i think im gna go live in Welington with my friend Sophie until i either get a job or we get sick of each other...then i mite blow my savings and get the fuck overseas....before its too late and im stuck in some job that doesnt allow me heaps of time off.......
...actually its not all that bad being finished uni and shit, im in LIMBO with what to do, but its fucking great, i have NO responsbility at all, just financial predicments, damn it all.....but other than that im pretty chilled out, just need a change of scene and a new city to explore and inspire....
...been having crazy dreams, like weird as lucid ones, i think its a combination of too much Carlos Castenada books, dvds, and just that my mind's in a weird place, i had a dream last nite that i was in some whacked out art deco apartment hanging out with Shera and katie who were both clad in those amazn rockstar glasses of theirs...was the coolest one ive had for ages...then i woke up to the site of another grey day....but i was still high from my dreams.....dreaming is great...
..oh yeah my cat got shut in the fridge today, crazy motherfucker, i was getn breakfast, he must have jumped in and climbed the shelves, then the door shut and he was stuck, haha it'll teach him...one track mind i swear to god...food, food, food....i guess being a cat would be pretty carefree!!

My bass is candy apple red.. same color my hair is now. Actually, I'm a natural red, just not quite so vibrant! Ah, and the PJ Harvey song Meet the Monzter is my favorite by her... Good stuff. I'm going to post a picture of me and my bass as soon as I figure out how to do it. I'm not great with computers, I just fake it pretty well! Thanks for the compliment..
