im sitting at my computer at some normally unheard of hour of the morning for me, but the mornings at the moment are so insanely beautiful, layer of frost on the ground, buzzy early morning sun peering through the trees, sweet smell of life outside, the birds...everything is great...
...im in a really optimistic mood, had a weekend away from hamtown, it was totally cool, i so needed it...i went up to the Bay of Islands up the top of NZ, to this rad little town called KeriKeri...its like a retreat from reality, nice people, beautiful scenery, an abscence of commerical bullshit and seemingly miles and miles of orchads and vege places selling amazing fresh fruit that is just so pure of mouth-wateringly good, i probably got my months worth of Vitamin C with the amount of mandarins i ate!
...headed up with my friends Angela and Petina, rad girls, we road tripped it at nite, smkn pot and listening to great sounds, cutting through the nite...i love driving at nite, its like the roads are your playground, no logging trucks to make me break into a frenzied sweat!
...so we got to where my friend Nat lives in this rad cottage in like the middle of nowhere, like a bungalow hideout amongst huge trees that seem to scrape the sky...and its like 1am...yet as soon as someone mentions the word 'magic mushrooms'we forget all about how late it is and how tired our bodies are far driving in my modest comfort style car for like 6 hrs! and start to embark on a beautiful trip into the wee hours of the morning, it really was amazing seeing the sun piercing through the trees in that state...life felt so undescribably simple and beautiful all at once....had a breakfast of bacon and hash browns and crashed out for the morning........
...spent most of the rest of the time just chillinh, laughing, listening to music, playing guitar, enjoying being in the middle of nowhere, just bathed in natures beauty....had a bonfire party the next nite, drunk some cold beers, had some more shrooms (its crazy hoe abundant they are up there...maybe that why all the locals are just so chilled..haha) and smoked heaps of pot and had a great time.........
...so yeah awesome wicked, i feel fully charged and so happy with life, endless possibilities....
..and to top with off when i arrived back my package from SG was here, i was so stoked, it was just the best end to a great weekend...

awww no prob ... im into loads of photography...anything b/w or sepia....but also surreal abstract weird shite. i love taking pics of random stuff and BANDS!! and most of all scary dark things like graves...etc.
