hey,
ive been kinda awol from my computer lately, and i miss suicde girls intensely, its good to be back with my lcd screen transporting me to this magical place...
...ive had a cool few days of my holidays, went to the big apple of New Zealand, (being auckland) to hang with my bandmates, had heaps of fun, was amazing weather, the sky was that shade of blue that sends shivers down your spine and a cage of butterflies swarming throughout your stomach, ahh it was ethereal...was cool seeing those dudes...we got really drunk on foreign beers and went and caught up with my mate paul who had just come back from three months of wild times in thailand and indonesia, he was fascinated with the abundance of komodo dragons and went to the caves where angelina jolie kicks ass in Tomb Raider...his party was kinda random, his flatmates are hardout out drum n'bass freaks, which is cool and all, but not really my scene, so there was a dude in the lounge doin his thing on decks with lots of e'd out ravers, so we took solace in pauls room and got really stoned, consumed more beer and told stories before heading back to our base and smkn more pot and watchn some classic simpsons re-runs, ahh i had so much fun
...although having to return to hamtown with my bassist at 9 the next morning after crashn out somewhere round 5am, was not the coolest, especially since that magnificent blue canvas i described earlier was now a hazy grey blanket of cloud engulfing our car..still stopping for a mean hit of bacon washed down with a cold corona was a beautiful start to the morning....
...not much else, watched Kill Bill again on dvd today, was blown away again, i love it so much, its just a riot, i get completely lost in it everytime, tarantino is just the man really, i tripped out when i saw my personalised signed photo that i recieved in the mail after i wrote him a now embarrising letter basically whorshipping his art and talent, his resurgance of filmic innnovation, although i was all of 16 and completely in love with Pulp Fiction!! ...i wish i lived in california so i could go see Volume 2 like right now!...its going to be a painful two week wait i assure you...
peace out
