The day:
Overslepted ear training, choir, and piano. FUCK.
Made it for T'ai Chi. Popping by the library, chance came about that very shortly Terry Pratchett would be speaking. After doing a double-take, called Nelson (who I knew would want to come; turns out he already knew about it and was coming), and checked out some Sandman and reserved some stuff. Yay for rediscovering the library. Afterwards, at Chipotle, a lovely girl with gorgeous dyed red hair appeared. Sadly, upon inquiry, it was revealed that the gentleman she arrived with was, in fact, her boyfriend. Zeut.
The time invested in this discovery imperiled the completion of my in-store assignment for rock climbing, so I cheated and went online instead of hitting up Midwest Mountaineering like I wanted to. I'm told they have a free bouldering gym in the basement, so I'll be checking it out sooner or later anyway. Rock climbing: Aid climbing is hella fun. Less physical, bit more problem solving, feels so natural and fun. I am master of sitting on your own foot 30 feet in the air. Free climbing on granite while wearing hard-soled boots, however, is ill-advised. Made that climb a helluva lot harder. Still, fun.
Just made it in time to get a load of laundry done at the apartment, then grab some vittles at the grocery store. Woot. Played some WoW, which I just bought, and now it's time for homework and attempting sleep.
Out.
