Glasses abso-fucking-lutely destroyed? Ouch.
I managed to have my glasses knocked off not once, but twice. This is, in its way, a miracle. I have had the misfortune of losing glasses to floors and pits before (damn being out of contacts), but have never actually recovered any before. So after the first time, someone had stepped on the bridge and it was all whacky. I managed to get one temple back in place, but torquing the other one back snapped it off at the bridge. Well, I made the best of it and had glasses sans-temple. Final 2 songs, they get knocked off my face. ACTUALLY RECOVERED YET AGAIN...but totally destroyed. I actually found that one of my lenses had been snapped, which was kinda surprising considering how thick the poly-carbonate is.
So the frames were trash, I've got a single lens that I'm using all monocle style to see when I have to, because I' blind as a bat, and not only are my frames no longer made, so I'll have to go in to find a new pair, but the store is closed tomorrow for Yom Kippur.
I'm looking at being blind for about a week.
