Today was my first foray into the world of life modeling and an enjoyable one at that. Waking up at 7:30 in the morning to go pose naked in front of a large group of strangers was a wee bit intimidating at first, but quickly became a comfortable experience as nervousness gave way to vanity. $60 in pay for my three hours of posing in various dance and martial arts stances is wonderful compensation for something that I'd likely consider doing for free...well, on my own terms. Fifteen minutes seems like a short amount of time until its spent immobile in a highly uncomfortable pose.

I started the day an absolute novice and ended it with several more offers for paid life modeling gigs, so I suppose today can be considered an all around success on that front.
