What ever happened to Ilan Michael Smith?
I know what you're thinking... Who?
Maybe Weird Science will a ring a bell.
Ilan Mitchell-Smith played Wyatt Donnelly, younger brother to Bill Paxton's Chet Donnelly, best friend to Anthony Michael Hall's Gary Wallace and pre-pubescent showering partner to Kelly LeBrock n this coming of age, build a smokin' hot supermodel with your Commodore Vic 20 while wearing a bra on your head comedy.
Sadly, despite my best efforts, I couldn't seem to coax another LeBrock out of my own Vic 20. Perhaps if I would've upgraded to the Commodore 64... But I digress...
But what of Ilan Mitchell-Smith? Surely the opportuntity to lock lips with Ms. Lebrock at the tender age of 15 would have only emboldened his acting chops and encouraged him to pursue a lifelong career in....Medieval Studies at Texas A&M...what the fuck!?!?!
Hmm...perhaps a little too much Dungeons and Dragons and not enough cocaine?
Anywho, for the curious among us, I was able to find a relatively enlightening interview with Smith in the Austin Chronicle from a few years back.
