Oh, wow! Happy Birthday!!!!! I didn't see that before.
And I'm done with work today. I'm doing nothing but sitting around my house.

So, I thought I was having a heart attack yesterday....No shit.
I was at the gym when I started to feel this intense pain under my sternum, and this odd feeling of obstruction--kind of like I had swallowed a golf ball and it had lodged itself in my chest.
As I'm a realitively intelligent guy, I did what any similarly...

Shaw is my bud and we have Trader Joes out here too... best cheese selection in the universe!!! ...i may have exaggerated but you get the drift.
One of my co-workers who is "sans car" made me drive her there to get peanutbutter and 12 bottles of wine. Not to be eaten together but that was her list.
I had a medianoche and some tostones. It was good to cure my massive beer intake. Woke up today with a smile.
Sunday nights are sad cause I have to go back to work Monday and for as much as i love my job my bed is way more comfy than my chair.
Im off to Anthropologie to get handles for my drawers.
Let me know when you will be back on this side and we can set up a little date. Would love to pick your brain....

love:
Houston's- (on wilshire and 2nd) the seared tuna with coleslaw- and their fries with the buttermilk dressing instead of ketchup. - Also the sister restaurant Gulf Stream in the Century city mall (yes, mall) for excellent crab cakes or salmon-- for both of these places- a 4 o'clock or 10 o'clock dinner is recommended or else you become engulfed in the masses.
Nawab of India- best india on the west side. others would disagree and say that the place on pico and bundy is better, but i really don't think so.
love Sushi Roku (corner of ocean and santa monica)- the lobster rolls in rice paper are completely awesome - also another good sushi spot is Taka Sushi on 2nd.
been dying to try out the new steak house across from roku called Boa for the filet, but haven't made it yet.

love your journal-hope things are looking up in LA- we should try and chat more; at the very least I think we have found in each other someone who will never judge for endless, annoying pet stories and cutesy pictures.

I don't want to be a lawyer anymore. There can be little argument that the world needs another one, and, surely, it can do without me. I'm confident there is a contrarian out there who would disagree, but I truly cannot fathom a less creative existence. The law is built upon precedent. In other words, every argument you make is predicated on something that has...

WAIT A MINUTE! It would be a total waste if you quit being an attorney!
The other night at Voda when that ass started talking about the war....what you did was B R I L L I A N T!!!!!
First you let him talk and dig a hole for himself.
Then you asked him all these questions that on the surface seemed completely general but you knew exactly what you were doing.
Five minutes later you were able to string together every answer he gave you to completely rip apart his argument.
AND I NEVER SAW YOU SWEAT! IT WAS EFFORTLESS FOR YOU!
If you can use all that to help people, you SHOULD.
Also.....
it is very sexy to watch you do your thing like that.

Is there something else that is bothering you? You've worked very hard to get where you are, right? So is it just the one thing about being creative or is there more?
What do you really like to do?

Well, there you have it: Actual indicia that I'm not wild-eyed alterna-girl stalker, but rather an innocent blogger who sought out his most appropriate forum.

i sit on the 20th floor in the office in front of two monitors typing away, away, away!
... I have a slew of artist friends living in the same area you did... Places I like to hang my hat ... local watering holes...L.I.T.M off of Jersey Ave 140 Newark Ave.. Cafe GROUND.. 530 Jersey Ave.. and there are a bunch of galleries and other little cafes and the like my friends and I frequent..when we have the cash.. you, know starving artists syndrome.. For the most part I kick my shoes off at my friends homes or they come visit me... whoever has the good eats, and drinks that day..
Hope you are doing well and thanks for adding my to your friends list ...
Cheers,
