the great Lux Interior from The Cramps is gone, he died last night from a pre-existing heart condition. He was 62.The Cramps were with me pretty much everyday when I lived in L.A. We would go down the boulevard together, we wore out sunglasses after dark and we searched for that Hot Pearl Snatch every day. It's a sad day for me, he was a major influence on me and I hadn't really thought it was such a big chunk. The Cramps will never die, they've been here for over 30 years, their legacy and music will never grow stale, it was Americana at its best. Pure Rock and Roll...
