Today had its ups and downs. I had to work from 11:45 to 6:15 at Dillard's. It may have been the longest 6 and a half hours of my life. At least I had my book to keep me company. I'm reading "The Dark Half" by Stephan King. It's turning out to a really great book. The bad guy is awesome. His name is George Stark. Is that not the coolest name you've ever heard?
Enough about work.
I come home and my roommate and I veg out in front of the TV for a few hours. Then he gets on his cell phone and makes plans for the evening. Luccas, my roommate, is the idea man. I'm pretty outgoing about where we go out, so I generally leave it up to him.
We ended up going to a hookah bar. Have you ever smoked the hookah? It's awesome. Flavored tobacco and a huge bong, basically. I smoked mango flavored tobacco tonight. Next time I'm trying mint, no matter how gross Luccas thinks it'll be.
We hung at the bar til midnight when it closed. Then Luccas and I split from the group of 6 that we were hanging out with and went to my favorite late-night place for food, the Frontier. Whew, it was good. Ain't nothing like green chili at 1am.
Anyway, so that was my day. It occured to me that I never lay out the events of my day to day life, just my feelings and emotions as a result of these events. No clear word on if this will be a perminate journal format change or not, you'll just have to wait and see.
My hair is freakishly long. Do you think I should cut it, or let it grow into some strange Jew-afro thing?
Seriously.
