Hey people.
Sorry I've been so inactive on the site as of late. I've been BUSY! As I said in my past post, school is really taking a toll on me. Yuck. 17 hours never seemed like a huge load before, but these upper level classes I'm taking are a bitch. Whew.
So I quit my job at Sears. I had enough cash on hand to pay rent for two more months, and I figured that was more then enough time to find a new gig. Sears was such a shitty place to work. Yuck. I finally did that get promotion, but it wasn't enough to get me to stay. Sears and I are through.
So I put in a few applications and stuff. I waited a few days to hear back from any businesess that I applied for, but I've heard nothing so far. I'll be proactive and stop by the four or five places again tomorrow.
I never realized how much time I would have on my hands if I quit my job. Tomorrow is Saturday, and I have NOTHING to do! This is weird for me. All this inactivity may get me feeling depressed again, and we don't want that, do we? Nope. So maybe after checking back with the places I applied for, I'll do visit my parents or something. I haven't seen them in like a week. For some of you not seeing your parents for a week may not seem like a big deal, but for me it's kind of a long stretch of time. Mom's all excited that I'm coming over. She's making dinner and everything. Yay for moms.
Somebody asked me about my profile pic. A friend of mine took that pic on her old camera for her photography class. She developed the picture in a red dark room with all those weird chemicals and everything. The copy she gave me sat on a shelf for a few months and yellowed in the sun. Since I have no scanner here at home, I took that pic along with the few I have in my pic folder to Kinkos one night and scanned them in. I sized the main profile pic that you're looking at all perfectly and emailed all five pics to myself. I came home and posted them up! These five or so pics have had quite a journey, wouldn't you say?
The clarinet is going fine, in case you're wondering. I'm practicing about 2 to 3 hours a day. I'll let you all know how the big concert goes, as always.
Ok, time for sleep. YUESS!
