Faroese Summer Institute
Dear applicant,
As the extended deadline for applications for the Faroese Summer Institute 2006 has expired we are sorry to inform you that this year there are too few applicants to make the course run. Therefore we have decided to cancel the course. We are sorry about that, especially for you who have applied and have been looking forward to it. But as organizers we have to make both ends meet concerning the Summer Institute and with the number of applicants we have this year that won't be possible.

I'd like to think I don't ask for too much in life, but I was really looking forward to this program. I sure as hell hope I'll get to the Faroes sooner or later. I'll just have to count on more people applying next year. The cancellation also severely halts development of my "Learn Faroese" project that I was going to start after I had returned.
At least I get to buy this Repulsion shirt:
