I went to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden "cherry Blossom Festival" on Saturday...it was pretty cool. Saw some Taiko drumming and a cheesy Samurai show.
I took about 150 pictures while I was there and I don't think I like any of them. I will work on a couple of shots and post them (hopefully) soon.
Saturday night I went out for my roommate's birthday at Dave & Buster's. If you have never been to a D&B's it is an overpriced restaurant and Arcade that is over 21 at a certain point in the evening. Trust me, I would never have chose this place myself, but it wasn't my birthday so I sucked it up (and by suck it up I mean drank heavily).
As we were leaving for the evening a few of us were standing out front and some chick started talking to me about my jacket (a Germany Track Jacket), she was talking about how if I was rooting for Germany in the World Cup I would be sad and how she likes French soccer better...needless to say in my inebriated state I had no fucking clue what this girl was talking about. I must have been really drunk and/or distracted (probably by some shiny object) because it took me a while to figure out that she was flirting with me...of course my belligerently drunk friend somehow managed to pick up on this right away and took it as a sign for him to hit on her and was just obnoxious enough to make her leave...so Nicole from San Diego (I learned that much) who was standing outside the Dave & Buster's on 42nd street in Manhattan Saturday night, if you happen to be a member of this site and by some sheer coincidence happen to read this I would like to apologize for my obnoxiously drunk friend and if you are still in NYC or are planning to come back let me know and this time I promise to not be oblivious!

I have a few smaller pieces I want to get done to hold me over until I find the artist and the money to take on my project. I found stick figure flying monkeys I want to get on my feet. I have my Kurt Halsey art for either my hips or behind my ears. And a couple other little ones
Too bad about the gal ~ Hope ya find her!
