Went swimming today - AGAIN - if this keeps up I may turn into a fish! 
Also started making the pup her own little feeder to go with the other dogs feeders. They each have their own little raised diners made from wood so they don't have to lean all the way down when they eat and drink
Remebered that Dumbya is still president

So, what are we going to talk about today? Hmmmmmm.......Oh, I know
- COMMUNICATION IS CRITICAL!
Sure, sex and attraction can take you through the first few days or weeks. And money can make that last a bit longer. But if you want it to last and to be good, you must communicate! Not just talk about nothing, mind you. You must truly communicate on many levels.
What does this mean, you ask? It means that you must observe the other person, you must understand, just through observation, what is going on. Then you must ask. You must obtain details. This is truly critical to making things last and work out. There are many people who simply let inertia take them through the first period of time, then they pop out a crotch dumpling or two, then their lives turn to mush and they only live for the 'kids'.
Trust me, that is no way to live. (see my past entries for info on loafs). Even if you decide to reproduce, ensure that you become parents not breeders! (again, see past journal entries). The main point is that truly understanding the person you are with is what makes it work. Kids don't make it work, sex doesn't make it work. It's all about love and understanding as well as talking! Talking, yes, speaking to each other.
I know, I am a radical and all that. But being able to talk about anything four or five years into a relationship is what gives you the true idea of where this is really going.
