So, on Sunday, Kevin Smith was doing a book signing at his shop in Red Bank. We went. We waited. And waited. Oh, and waited some more and after 6 hours got to meet him. They were expecting 300 to 500 people and 2,000 showed up! We were probably about halfway down the line.
At first people were going into the shop and getting to meet him and talk and stuff. If you know anything about Kevin Smith, you know you can ask him a question and he will talk for an hour in reply. So, after awhile, just before we got to the door, he came outside to speed things up. They allowed us to take pictures with him but handed out posters he had taken a break to pre-sign.
I was a little bummed about this but when I got up to him, with a sea of people waiting behind me we still managed to have a 5 minute conversation, which was pretty cool.
