I started my half sleeve over a year ago and I only have the first part done. Now I have all of these other ideas for tattoos and no money for any of it. Hopefully now that I am working a second job I will be able to at least be able to finish what I started and maybe afford a tribute to a mentor of mine in the Marines who ended his life last month.
I don't know about the rest of you, but this winter has been full of death, the most deaths I've seen since Afghanistan. It's really a tragedy that so many good people have been lost, I hope that they have all found peace. As for the rest of us living, I hope spring brings a relief to the sorrow that seems so wide spread. I look forward to see the first flowers and grasses come out of the ground and the trees open their buds.
It's so close but seems so far away still. That is one thing about living in Montana, winter lasts about 6 months, and it can be a very long 6 months to endure if you don't stay active. I didn't do a very good job of that this time around, mostly because I am broke and driving into the mountains can be expensive, but it's almost over so I guess I just about made it.
Soon I will be living in one of the most beautiful places in this country, lulled to sleep every night by the sound of loons and crickets and awoken by song birds. I look forward to sharing my adventures with you folks.
