ok here's something telling about my life:
last night s5, the inventive vegan, told me about a late night snack: rice and maple syrup. seeing as how there is no real food in my parents' house at the moment, i decided to try out s5's recipe. the rice was steamed and sticky - ready for syrup love. the syrup was sugar-crystal chunky, though. i nuked it for about 30 seconds to no avail. i hit it again for about 2 minutes, took it out of the microwave, burned myself, and managed to get molten syrup all over my fingers and uncomfortable job-getting pointy collar shirt.
end result:
[+] tasty maple syrup rice
[-] asymmetrical maple syrup stain on my eggshell-colored job-gettin' shirt.
