hi! today i met eris.

some things about eris:
- she is thoughtful
- she is fun
- she is very nice
- she is super cute
- she is (by her own admission) high maintenence
- she has pink kitty ears on her hoodie
- she likes to argue with cabbies

after much gnashing of teeth due to traffic snarls (bush was in portland today), i picked her up at her friends place in the northeast. we met my friends tyler and jen for falafel on hawthorne, and then we went downtown to check out the bush protests. it was fun - i didn't even get peppersprayed! then we walked around downtown, and eventually ate more falafels and french fries.

tomorrow we are going to find her cute shoes and maybe eat bagels.

i was thinking that it would be nice to have an informal "meet eris" soire/event sometime this weekend - would any of you portland people come? we have good music, a house, a fridge in which one can put beer, and (of course) the super rad eris!
