What? Buy what, where? Huh?

No. Seriously, I'm really kind of boring and plain. It's the truth.

Might be a self-fufilling prophecy though.

We had that conversation as soon as she said her boyfriend was outside. And, as you are so keenly aware, she has major self-esteem issues, so I always need to walk on egg-shells because no matter how hard I try she acts like a little puppy dog that I'm broken its leg and then laughed because it was in pain.

As far as not being able to think about anything else, I would be the same way. If she so much as broke her toe I would be a wreck. I don't like my friends to suffer (or anyone really). And we have been friends so long that I was blind-sided by her apathy. One of my other friends ended up having surgery about the same time I did. I was so worried about her until I knew she was okay. I was a total wreck. When I woke up from surgery I kept talking about how worried I was. It was the only thing I felt it was worth the energy to talk about. The people that were with me were like, "You need to worry about you now, you just had surgery." I just can't imagine how someone could care so little. It just broke my heart...

Luckily, I never stay upset for too long, so I am in much happier spirits today! YAY!
