It's my last day in LA and I'm actually sad about it. I've had the most fantastic week with SpookyDan, his girlfrined Tammy, Paul, all their awesome friends and all of my buddies. I fucking love everyone I know here.

But the saddest part is leaving behind the lovely Mtlqueen and her amazingly sweet, talented and just plain fucking COOL new husband Clovesbud. I finally got to spend some time with him and it all makes perfect sense now. I am totally at ease knowing my sweet queen of metallurgy and coolness is here with him. Next time I'm crashing with you two so we can spend more time together! I want to take you both home with me in my carry on luggage, but not in pieces for once, I like you two alive and wicked - just the way you are. God I'm going to miss you. *tears* We took pics at the party - some of them are ridiculous since Mtlqueen and I are clowns - but I'll post them when I return tomorrow.

I can't even begin to chronicle all the great shit and amazing people I spent time with this week. Here's a bullet list off the top of my head:
- graveyard romping with Gris Grimly, Liz, Dan and Paul. There are some horror greats buried here!

- The morbidly beautiful corpse art anatomical exposition of real human bodies: Gunther von Hagen's Body Worlds Exhibit. My favourite was the plastination of a pregant woman with her unborn foetus still inside her - a life that never was. This exhibit was so fascinating and elating. Von Hagen is a mad genius!
- Having Mexican food and acting like an asshole in Darren Frydendall's hood. This mutha is CRAYZEE!

- The inimitable Clive Barker. This man makes me happy to be alive. I can't even begin to describe how fantastic his home is and how wonderful the people he surrounds himself with are. Anthony, Joe, David -everyone, you're all beautiful. I'm moving in K?

- Seeing Del and Sue again at my favourite spooky book store in the world, Dark Delicacies.
- Shopping at Meltdown Comics Thanks for the tip GDT, you're right, it's the best comic shop on the planet - love ya!
- Stress relief and many cigarettes with my buddy Steve Niles. He's working his ass off these days and needs to take a vacation - AHEM Steve - but nevertheless he both rocks and rolls.
