CHEE, the artist who did Steve Niles' WAKE THE DEAD comic series (very cool Frankenstein story, you should pick up the trade, it just came out) and the DAWN OF THE DEAD comics sent me this illustration he did of me as a ZOMBIEQUEEN. Behind me is Niles and my legion of the undead. It's pretty big and it came all the way from freaking Malaysia. How fucking inimitably cool is that?

I'm a writer and I don't even know what to say, it's just the coolest fucking thing anyone can do for you. You may have noticed his name in my favourite artists list since Wake the Dead first came out. So I've framed it and put it up in my office. I sent him a care package in return but the best way I can really thank him is to get you reading the comics he worked on. So do me a favour and check them out.

You should be reading horror comics.
