That just tickles my clit that people still come and check up on me. I've been occupying myself with existential and self-absorbed soul searching. I am way too white with too much spending money. I bet you don't hear that on here often.

A very freeing experience this past month: a cursed cloud lay over my head to the point where it became funny and for the span of about three days, I had nothing to lose. On a trip to Chicago I lost $600 trying to get a plane ticket---> then I get arrested----> then my boyfriend cuts the chord (apparently I'm too r&r for him)-------> I have to rush home for my grammie's funeral-----> my hard drive crashes with the book and music I've written on it with no back up. It's become funny and please nobody write an "I'm sorry" comment.

My band has gotten signed to Arena Rock records and we'll be recording this summer. This will be my first recording experience and i plan to watch it closely and be involved every step of the way. We have a two record deal with a ___k buy out..I think I can't say, although like anybody cares. We've got the same bookers as the Walkmen which is explanation for our wonderful, and most likely undeserved, luck with bills we've been put on. We'll be playing with Electrelane on June 14th here, healining at Doug Fir on July 1st and then something about PDXPop and CMJ in NY.

I've been feeling an intense and wasted yearning for fame. Something I would eschew two months ago. I don't know why this is, what a petty and awful thing to want or need. I'm not the type of girl to run around a room kicking things and throwing confetti to get it though.
