welcome and party on

OMG i feel like such an idiot.... picture the scene: a river that i have paddled (in my kayak) hundreds of times, 6 Freshers following me down a grade 3 rapid and a rock that isn't quite submerged. Thats right kids i hit it and with my paddle supporting me stopping me from going over then 2 of the freshers banged into me. I finally went over then into another rock, my paddles were stuck and i couldn't roll myself up and i scrape all of my right hand pulling my deck and swimming. I am soooo angry at myself i shouldn't be swimming on that river and to make it worse i got blood EVERYWHERE from my hand which now looks like i've smashed a window with it
