OMFG... my white Irish ass is so sunburned (ok, not my ass, but it may as well be and join the burn party that's going on all over my upper body).
9 a.m.: I'm in Pompano, I made it out there before the sun was up, not a big deal. I'm there to get my plates and the last of the paperwork finished. The clutch had been slipping, so I had them take another look at it.
12:30 p.m. : I've been outside waiting for them to tell me what was wrong. I should have been home by now, and well out of the destructive path of the sun. They've taken it for a bunch of test rides and then into the garage. They finally tell me that it would take a couple days to fix, needing parts and all, but they had a better idea. They had a motorcycle just come in, and since my paperwork hadn't been finalized, they asked if I'd like to trade.
1:30 At least I got to wait inside for 20 minutes this time while the finalization of the paperwork on my Honda CB900 custom (as opposed to the 550 I was riding) Still not a problem, I could be home before the sun is facing me and get off lucky.
2:45 A FUCKING ACCIDENT. There's an accident on 75 (alligator alley, with no other place to go or hope of detour) and it's backed up for miles. Stand still traffic. The bike starts to overheat, so I shut it down and wait out the 2 hours in the shade of a semi, but now the damage is done... I'm fried.
5:00 I finally get home.
That was my day. 8 hours of fun in the Florida sun. At least I got a faster motorcycle. Hell, it has to be faster, based alone on the fact that it has 10 speeds (1-5 low, then 1-5 high) There's a picture of it in my phone cam folder.
And now, I can finally stop talking about my motorcycle and move on to other things.
For lunch, I had the best cheesesteak I've had since moving down here. I've yet to go to Steak & Shake, so we'll see then, but so far, Sal's Diner in Pompano is wonderful.
I'm off to go soak my self in aloe.

They need you!!! and they have tacos...
The bottle is the Pure Cane Sugar version I asked you about and the other is a teeny Japanese can. You can't really tell from the picture, but it is only 2 inches tall.
Thank you
