Janet (my mom) hates me.
Just a little back story for anyone who doesn't know. When we moved to Naples last month or so, she joined Weight Watchers. Because she can't do it alone, I decided to be the good son and join her as I could stand to lose a few myself. Well, the first week I lost 5.6 and this week I lost another 3.something. Janet lost 5 her first week, but gained 2 this week. She's been out walking and exercising and following her points, but she still gained 2. I tried to tell her that 5 her first week was probably it for a couple weeks, and we did have the Superbowl thing yesterday, so many a plate of nacho was eaten. She's just pissed that I've almost lost 10 in the last 2 weeks and haven't so much as gotten off the couch (but I did cut back the caloric intake greatly), and she's only lost 4, which is probably the rate a 52 year old woman should lose it. Whatever, I'll even out in losing too, so it's all relative.
I'm off to Deerfield tomorrow morning to get the last of my stuff and Janet is going to "talk" to my old landlord to try to get my deposit back. It's times like this that I'm glad my mom can be a complete raving bitch. It's not like she's doing this out of the kindness out of her heart, it's all going to her for rent.
I was only off by 6 points on my prediction. Pats Rule!!!
