Almost done packing exept for the computer and my clothes. I'm going through them to figure out what to bring then tossing the rest in a trashbag and putting in storage.
After cleaning this place from top to bottom so I can get my security deposit back, I've noticed a few things. Like the lack of a smoke detector, which wouldn't be such a big deal if the outlets didn't shoot sparks when I plugged stuff in. No worries, the water from the leaks in the roof will take care of the electrical fires, right? (I know, I know...)
I still have to finish the 3 tattoos before I leave. One's a cross, so that shouldn't be too hard, another is like 98% done, I just have to throw in a trident and photocopy it all onto one page, and the third was almost done until I found out where it was going to be placed (a 5x7 drawing will probably not fit on the upper mid thigh of a petite girl). The picture isn't a problem, its just that there was a lot of detail in it and its all going to be lost when truncated, so I'll just make a new one and hopefully someone I know will want a fairy on their back or something.
That's just my comissioned projects. I still have 2 of my own to draw up. My half sleeve is on the brink of being finished, I finally decided what I wanted to fill in the void, so all I have to do with that one is finish the main drawing out and get a color scheme to take to an artist (frigging David Colby moving back to Cali). Then I figured out what I want on my back shoulders... Spy vs. Spy. Then, after those, I'm positive that I will not want another tattoo ever again. Except for maybe the Death of Rats (ok, 3 of my own) on my left calf (I have to keep my placements symetrical).
I figure after all 6 tattoos are drawn up, I'll get pictures of them on paper, and on the skin, and start a portfolio. No, I am not changing professions (again), but it would be a nice way to make some extra cash.
