Today was my last day running a belt in the operation. From now on, I am a part of the training team. No more stress, no more spending 20 minutes in the shower trying to get my hands clean just to get them dirty at work again, no more killing myself trying to break jams and do paperwork at the same time... just training. One person at a time as I'll probably be one on one outbound, but even follow up all I have to do is just check in with people, do a few salts, get some production numbers and then that's it. Best part? All the over time I could possibly want up to 54 hours a week. I made the decision to move to the training team mostly because I'm already a mess, and the stress I'm under daily to get shit done is a bit much for me. Plus, I'm starting school in a month and I'll be needing the set 5 to 11 schedule because getting out at 2 a.m. (like tonight) just ain't going to cut it.
I also get a raise sometime very soon. Nothing spectacular, but a raise is a raise.
Yeah, Johnny-C... I said a raise.

Working nights suck balls. Congrats on getting a better job, I hope it works out well. So will you be training people to use a belt now? Heh, at least you won't have to spend an extra 20 minutes in the shower umm......cleaning......, yeah your hands, right.

yea, except it wasn't that cool, at all really. granted, it was about 5" long and an inch or so deep on the left side of his neck, but nothing to write home about.
