A Salem man has been arrested in Alabama on charges of child pornography and exploitation after allegedly responding to an Internet advertisement that authorities placed offering ''Lolita" escorts.
Luke S. G*****, 26, who works as an independent film producer for ITV Direct of Beverly, responded by e-mail to the ad posted on Craigslist.org in February and March, court documents allege. His notes indicated he was looking for two or three 10-to-12-year-old girls to videotape performing oral sex on him and that ''pigtails, freckles, and school uniforms would be a plus," court documents filed in US District Court for the Northern District of Alabama indicate.
G***** flew from Massachusetts to Alabama on March 31 after allegedly agreeing to pay $1,200 for three hours with three girls. He was arrested at a Birmingham hotel by FBI agents, US postal inspectors, and Birmingham police, court records show.
Last Friday, US Magistrate Judge John E. Ott ordered G***** jailed without bail pending trial, saying that he faces 20 to 30 years in prison if convicted of the charges and would pose both a risk of flight and a potential danger to the community if released.
''He has a fear of flying, yet he flew on a lengthy flight to come to Birmingham to meet the children," Ott wrote in his detention order. ''He traveled with his iPod that contained video clips of child pornography, again showing an impulsive nature with little thought for the consequences."
At the same time that G***** was negotiating with undercover officers to meet the young girls, he also ordered 10 child pornography movies from another undercover officer in the Birmingham Innocent Images Task Force to be sent to his parents' home in Massachusetts, according to Ott's detention order. He also said he had 23 images of child pornography on his home computer, court records show.
G***** told investigators that it was a fantasy to him and that he was not sure if he would have had sex with children, but Ott said that statement was inconsistent with the fact that G***** spent $400 on air fare to Alabama and paid $1,200 to an undercover officer before his arrest.
G*****'s court-appointed lawyer, James L. O'Kelley, declined to comment on the charges.
I promise that will be the last time I post that.... Though, I may be selling bumper stickers in the near future. Muahahahah.

its kind of funny, but actually is about a little girl who's just born evil
and basically about that debate in general.
The young actress in it (can't remember her name) is really good in the role.
All pigtails and little curtsies..
