I had a very plesant night. For starters I got to spend it with Alyk, Negative and his lady. So really, we could have gone to the dentist and a Yankee game and still have had a good time.
We started off the day driving into Worcester and hitting up the Worcester Art Museum. There, the plan was to check out the Egypt-mania exhibit. Luckily, we checked everything else out first because for something with a -mania suffix, it was seriously lacking. The benefit of having cultured friends is that I did learn a lot... like Jackson Pollack painted haystacks. That isn't the only thing I learned. I also learned that a museum security guard is the easiest job in the world, even K-fed needs culture yo, and Alyk owns the loudest pair of shoes on the planet.
Now, what's the opposite of sugar? Well, whatever it is, I'm going to have to eat a ton of it to counteract the diabetic coma I'm about to slip into. The second part of a fantastic day landed me at Wholly Canolli. I had some decent pizza of my own and some of the best lasagna ever, thanks to Negative letting me go all Hellen Keller on his plate. As if that wasn't enough... next came the dessert. I had a chocolate covered peanut butter canolli and a dynamite stick. Total for the night... 8 kajillion callories. But I was drinking Coke Zero, so that works out.
Tonight was a good night. I hope it shall be repeated... if they can cut a hole in the side of my house to crane me out after the 500 pounds I gained from the canollies (sp?) tonight.
Not to mention there's still like a day and a half before I have to go back to work and I'm only getting better at NCAA 2006.
A few final quick bullet points about my week.
- I put my pants on backwards the other day. The rest of the days, I dressed myself just fine.
- I saw a car accident. I would have stopped to make sure the douche who caused it got in trouble, but I was late for work.
- I finally got my stuff from Florida. Mike Tyson, prepare to face the wrath of Little Mac. 007 373 5963... your ass is grass.
- For last weekend pics'n'details, see Smuffy's journal. She's rocks... for serious.
That's it. I'm either going to pass out or do laps around the house until my sugar high crashes.
