I had put off updating hoping that the funk of this week would lift. But, unfortunately, the funk lives on...and not in a fun James Brown kinda way.
Work is overwhelming this week, to say the least. I love my job, but it turns out, I love getting more than 3 hours of sleep a night, a whole lot more. Don't get me wrong, work is only a factor, it is I who chooses to stay up til wee hours of the morning. A 4-hour time difference between here and Alaska seems to be the culprit.
Speaking of which, got a fabulous new friend in the mail this week from the boy. His name is Fredrick and he was born by means of Build-a-Bear. He's squishy goodness, and comes complete in a military uniform...*sigh* Yes, we all know how Josie loooooves a boy in uniform.
What should be a very exciting period, a time for planning for a future, I find myself dwelling on the glass being half empty. I'm no where near as frustrated with that around me, as I am with myself for being in such a negative state of mind. The theory that "one must end for another to begin" isn't sitting well with me, and I'm not sure what the answer is. What I do know, is finding answers right now, doesn't seem to be in the cards, so I will hold on until this week draws to a close and remember that I love February a whole lot more than January.
QUESTION: Do you watch American Idol, and if so, do you have a favorite?
My loyalty on that show lies with Seacrest. I have a tiny crush on that pretty boy...either that, or I just want to snag him for a shopping trip, I haven't decided. But as far as singers go, I love-love the Martina McBride wanna-be girl with the blonde curly hair.
