~*~ HAPPY NEW YEAR! ~*~
2005...has anyone else JUST gotten used to writing 2004 like me? How can another year have passed already. I said this very thing to one of my co-workers and he said, "well, you know...that's a sign you're getting old, when the years start running together." Yeah...thanks, fucker! When I look back on this past year though, there has been such a huge transformation in my life, I don't know why it's such a shocker that a whole year has passed.
When I look back at 2004, I see every aspect of my life has been affected in biggest of ways. The addition of SG back in February added a whole new crop of friends to my life. The lives intertwined with mine stimulate, challenge and educate me on a daily basis...all for a bargain price. The resources here, and the widely educated people I come across, continue to astound me.
And love...Love has been a tricky emotion this year...a true-to-form 4-letter word from time to time. However, in the state of reflection, each instance has pushed, challenged and forced me to think outside the box...(in a manner of speaking...) I have fallen in love three times this year, and when looking back, I can see that the emotion of love is the true gift, not the outcome. Maybe I can say that now due to the happiness I'm feeling about this subject?
New Years Resolutions:
1 ~ Health
2 ~ Happiness
3 ~ Love
4 ~ Quit over-reacting
5 ~ To see Dale Jr. win the 2005 Nextel Cup Championship (yup, still loyal in the off-season)
I'm limiting myself to five, and as generic as they appear, there are many different levels at which these affect my life. Well, except for the last one, that's pretty cut-n-dry.
QUESTION: New Years Resolution? And did you break it yet?
